Qatar and Jordan have agreed to form a joint committee to follow up on the implementation of the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to provide 10,000 job opportunities for Jordanian youth in Qatar.

HE the Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs, Dr Issa bin Saad al-Jafali al-Nuaimi, announced this decision yesterday at a joint press conference with Jordan’s Minister of Labour, Sameer Saeed Murad. The committee will provide a database to facilitate the process for private and public entities in Qatar to choose a candidate who meets their needs and wishes to work in Qatar, the minister said.

HE al-Nuaimi said the meeting also touched on the nature of the job opportunities available in Qatar and the different sectors that have the capacity to welcome Jordanian youth who wish to work in Qatar, including health, education, fi nance, insurance, services, construction, agriculture and animal resources.
