DOHA: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday exchanged cables of greetings on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Adha with the leaders of the Arab and Muslim countries.

HH the Amir also received cables of congratulations from a number of leaders of friendly countries.

H H the Amir also exchanged greetings in telephone conversations with the leaders of the Arab countries.

H H the Amir exchanged greetings with Amir of the State of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco, President of the Republic of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi, President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait H H Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

H H the Amir exchanged greetings with King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and President of the Republic of the Sudan Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmad Al Bashir.

Deputy Amir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani also exchanged cables of greetings with Vice-Presidents and Crown Princes of the Arab and Islamic countries, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Adha.

Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani has exchanged cables of greetings on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Adha with heads of governments of the Arab and Muslim countries.

H H the Amir has received a cable of greetings from Speaker of the Advisory (Shura) Council H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Adha.

H E the Speaker expressed his heartfelt greetings and blessings on the advent of the blessed Eid Al Adha and on behalf of the members of the Advisory Council, affirming full support to H H the Amir’s conscious march.

He asked Allah the Almighty for the best of health and happiness to H H the Amir and further progress, welfare and prosperity to the loyal people of Qatar under the wise leadership of H H the Amir.

In a cable, H H the Amir thanked H E the Advisory (Shura) Council Speaker and the Council members for the greetings and good wishes, asking Allah the Almighty for the happy return of such an occasion to all of them.

H H the Amir wished the Council Speaker and the Council members the best of health, happiness and more welfare, and dear homeland further progress, and prosperity.
