“Bedaya Ramadan Bazaar” inaugurated at Al Mirqab Mall


Doha, Qatar – 1 May 2019:  
The General Manager of Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), the joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, Reem Al-Sowaidi along with Rony Mourani, General Manager Al Mana Malls, on Tuesday  night (30 April 2019), inaugurated  the Bedaya Ramadan Bazaar, which is taking place in collaboration with Al Mirqab Mall till 21 May 2019 daily from 7 pm till 1 am.

The “Bedaya Ramadan Bazaar”, with its outstanding design which symbolizes the old popular Souq is inspired by the one thousand- and one-nights stories. With a centered place for the herald who will be telling stories for kids on an hourly basis, the Bazaar will be the perfect platform for 30 local startups to showcase, promote and sell their goods under one vibrant and colorful roof.

The “Bazaar” aims to support small and medium businesses established by young, talented, ambitious, and creative Qatari entrepreneurs by providing them with the opportunity to showcase their products in a strategic location, considered as one of the most appealing shopping malls in Qatar.

On this occasion, Reem Al-Sowaidi, General Manager of Bedaya Center, said, “We aim, through the “Bedaya Ramadan Bazaar”, to provide an attractive platform and a golden opportunity for the start-ups and business owners operating small and medium businesses to showcase their products during the holy month of Ramadan at Al Mirqab Mall, which attracts great number of different categories of the diverse communities living in Qatar due to its strategic location and easy accessibility, thus providing the opportunity for the largest number of visitors to come and get a closer look at the products of the entrepreneurs, which highlights our role in supporting and promoting the pioneering innovation in the country.”
