–Chef, Javier Aranda, returned to Doha last week to introduce the authentic Spanish flavors of El Faro, by Javier Aranda, to the people of Qatar. He is one of the youngest esteemed leaders in the industry to be awarded a Michelin Star and is making waves in the Spanish culinary scene with two restaurants, La Cabra and Gaytán, in Madrid.

The newly launched restaurant at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, features an exclusive “tapas and pinxtos bar”, and a full dinner menu in the main seating area, offering highlights and unique blends from across the Iberian Peninsula with a contemporary interpretation that makes El Faro the destination of choice for diners.

During the special event, guests indulged in a Spanish sensation as they walked down the Mercado-designed entrance, to mingle, and pose for photos with live DJ and saxophonist. The atmosphere sizzled with the live Paella cooking station and Sangria stand

For two days after the special event, Chef Javier met and mingled with guests as he prepared his signature dishes, giving them a taste of what he is renowned for.

There is a huge group of Spanish cuisine lovers in Doha, who have made me feel at home. Opening daily from 5pm, and on Saturdays from 12.30pm to 2am, this cozy Spanish corner in Doha offers guests special weekly promotions such as Viva La Noche (Long Live the Night), Chica’s Night, Paella Night and Tapas Locas (all you can eat Tapas) as well as the specially created al a carte menu by Chef Javier.
