In yet another cyber attack, Doha’s Lusail Newspaper, part of Dar Al Sharq Group which has been temporarily shut down has been hacked by a group of people in the UAE on Sunday. This is after the recent hacking of the Qatar News Agency that led to the ongoing GCC Crisis.

In reference to a Press Release from the Arabic Newspaper, the hackers managed to get full control of the Newspaper’s website and posted abusive comments. They went ahead to replace a poll by the newspaper and replaced it with, “Emirati hackers were here” and “Emiratis and Saudis are your Lords” as well as multiple false and derogatory accusations.

The Vice Editor-In-Chief Mohammad Al Haji reiterated the fact that the Newspaper will not cower down to hackers and will resume normal operations.
