HSBC Qatari talent seconded for training in London

DOHA:  Fahad Al Khater, Associate Relationship Manager, will join the HSBC Global Banking investment banking division in London in September for a one year full time assignment.

Fahad Al Khater joined HSBC in 2016 as a Graduate Trainee in the Global Banking team. In 2017 he was promoted to an analyst position and in 2018 to associate relationship manager.

“HSBC is an exciting and rewarding employer in Qatar. I am eager to join the banking professionals in the UK for a year and bring the valuable experience I gain there back to Qatar to support our bank and serve our community here in Doha.” Fahad Al-Khater said.

Osama Ali, Head of Global Banking in Qatar said: “Fahad will join the team in London for twelve months from where he will be able to participate in the execution of headline transactions such as merger and acquisition deals, coordinating with equity and debt capital markets teams, and providing corporate advisory and finance services to our global clients. These skills will add great value to the talent pool in HSBC Qatar.”
