Katara to Celebrate Eid Al Adha Festival with a Series of New Performances

Doha: The Cultural Village (Katara) is all set to celebrate Eid Al Adha Festival on Friday with a series of new performances and events at the Katara Corniche.

Visitors will enjoy the exciting artistic show inspired from the Arab heritage, which revolves around the famous character of arabian tales and his wonderful and comic stories that mix excitement and suspense. The stories will be daily presented through the attraction shadow theater in an interactive manner and a modern technique, using bright colors and shapes designed especially for the show.

The performances will include 3 different storytelling including (arabian tales, the Roman Caesar, Alice in Wonderland, and Aladdin, in addition to a live acrobatic show. The first show will be from 6:30 – 7:00 pm, while the second show will be from 7.45-8.15 pm, and the third and final show 9.00 – 9.30 pm.

Eid gifts will also be presented to children at 7 pm and 8:15 pm with a daily display of fireworks at 9:30 pm to light up the sky at night, which is expected to enthrall visitors.
