DOHA: The Cultural Village Foundation –Katara is set to host a festive Eid Al Adha celebration with a range of colourful activities starting on August 21.
The festivities, which will take place at the Katara Beach throughout the Eid holiday, are expected to attract a big number of visitors including families and children looking forward to make Eid a memorable experience filled with joy and entertainment. One of the highlights of the celebration is a marvelous show by the Police Musical Band, who will be playing patriotic music along the Katara Beach.
This is followed by the distribution of Eid gifts to the children by Katara staff and the kick-off of games, entertainment and activities for children.
Another performance by the Police Musical Band will be held by the sunset near Katara Amphitheater followed by a spectacular fireworks show which will light up the sky over Katara.
