Qatar launched its Qatar Visa Centre (QVC) in Mumbai, India,on Friday, in the presence of officials from both countries.The center in Mumbai is the second one in India after New Delhi,which was opened few days back.Â Five more centers – Kolkata, Lucknow,Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi – will be opened in India in the coming days,the Ministry of Interior posted on its official Twitter account.
Previously QVCâ€™s were opened in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan.QVC will simplify and accelerate work visaÂ procedures for those coming from these countries andenablethem toÂ complete fingerprint and biometricÂ data processing,medical checkup and employment contract signing from their home country.
All the steps to apply for recruitment through the QVCs are available on the Ministry of Interior website and Metrash 2 service. The recruitment procedures are the same as theprevious procedures but have been transferred fromÂ Qatar to the expatriate countries to facilitate the procedures.
All recruitment fees are paid by the employer in Qatar toÂ allow the expatriate to complete his recruitment procedures inside the QVCs abroad.
