Doha: Qatar Museums Chairperson H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has invited people to register so as they maybe able to attend the limited-seat opening ceremony of National Museum of Qatar.
The Qatar Museums will assign a select number of seats to Cultural Pass Members, as well as some of the oldest residents living in Qatar.

The Qatar Museumsâ€™ website says the â€œNational Museum of Qatar will open on March 27th 2019. This opening will be under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.â€ The National Museum is designed by world renowned architect, Jean Nouvel, and is an expansion of the old National Museum that was built in 1975.
â€œAs Qatar is a diverse nation and its progress and growth has always depended on the participation of all of its residents, it gives us a great pleasure to extend a number of opening night invites to our Culture Pass members.â€
â€œSeniority is not a criteria, everyone is invited to sign up! Seats are limited,â€ the website says.
